Intellinav is a GPS navigation system that comes with a standard set of features that is found on most modern sat nav systems. It is preloaded with maps of USA, Canada, Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands in a 1GB SD card, and can render these maps in 3D.

The card is also big enough to hold 1.2 million points of interests and the onboard software is capable of trip planning, optimized viewing for day and night lighting, MP3 playback, image viewing and speed alerts.

Intellinav relies on Microsoft Windows CE.NET 4.2 as an OS and uses a Samsung processor at 266MHZ. The GPS receiver comes from SiRF which can track 20 channels at once and the screen measures 3.5″ diagonally. Intellinav does have a built-in speaker for voice directions and allows for memory expansion via the SD card slot.

It has a powerful 2000mAh rechargeable battery which should last more than 5 hours on a single charge.

The bottom line is Intellinav has a nice set of standard features but the $300 price tag is a bit too high considering you can find the same set of features on other GPS navigation systems that cost $200 or less.
