HG-100 goes through FCC – looks beat up

The HG-100 GPS based heads up display we mentioned here at Navigadget makes it through FCC – but during photoshoot it doesn’t look anything like the computer generated pics. But looks aren’t everything – so there’s still hope.
HG-100 is a device that combines Heads-Up Display (HUD), GPS, and Bluetooth. With HUD, car heading and speed are being projected onto the windshield so drivers can keep their eyes on the road. HG-100 has also the Over-Speed Alert function to remind drivers with when they’re stepping on the gas pedal a bit too hard. The GPS receiver is from MediaTek Inc. and it provides the 32 channel all-in-view satellite tracking, 5Hz update rate function to show the most detailed position fix. HG-100 also has Bluetooth interface function, so you can pair it up with your PDA, Smart Phone and laptop computer to enable these devices with GPS navigation feature (must bring your own navigation software).
