Ruggedbook 7-inch UMPC PC657

Computex 2007 in Taipei revealed another UMPC with GPS support. Called Ruggedbook, this semi-rugged UMPC is slightly different than others for GPS chip is not integrated but it is optional via the PCMCIA slot. Yes, the good old PCMCIA standard. Do they even make GPS receiver that fits into PCMCIA slots these days?

- Semi-rugged design, IP53 at front bezel
- 7″ TFT LCD (800×480) touch screen display
- VIA, C7M 1.2GHz processor
- 512MB DDR2 memory expandable to 1GB
- Storage: Built-in CF card that supports upto 8GB, optional 1.8″ HDD (30, 60, or 80GB)
- Wireless: WiFi 802.11 b+g, Bluetooh V2.0
- CMOS camera
- Optional finger-print sensor
- Optional DVB-H tuner or GPS module via PCMCIA slot
- Expansion slot for SD-IO/MMC card, PCMCIA card
- OS: Windows XP Pro or Home
