new GV-366 from GlobalSat
Published on June 12th, 2007 in globalsat, gps navigation
GlobalSat has a new GPS navigation system called the GV-366. From the specs we can see that it is going to be an entry level system featuring a 3.5″ touch screen. Nonetheless GV-366 uses better hardware for the things that matter more - such as the SiRF Star III GPS receiver, navigation software from Navigon and a 1400mAh rechargeable Li-Ion battery.
Navigon’s navigation software is able to render maps in 2D and 3D, give quick access important POI’s such as restaurants, gas stations, parking lots in few seconds, and provide voice guidance in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Danish, Dutch, Flemish, Finnish, Polish, Norwegian, Swedish, Hungarian, Greek, Russian and Turkish.
We’re not sure which retailers will pick this up in North America or Europe but we’ll be sure to let you know when it is for sale. We bet it is going to be sub $200.
