Here is the answer Navigadget has been looking for: Thanks to a sales training workbook for AT&T employees that popped up just today we now know that iPhone will not have GPS capabilities. Here is what the workbook reads…

- Response: GPS is not part of the iPhone feature set. Thanks for the feedback. We’ll let Apple know this is of interest to you.
Maybe GPS is coming in 2008.
UPDATE: We also know bluetooth on iPhone is only for handsfree and nothing else.

The Iphone is a great product and it does have GPS capabilities. The company Apple is just waiting to anticapate people. do not worry go out and spend 600 dollars on it. 600 is nothing at all.

Obviously a good idea to wait, the next generation will probably Have GPS, More memory, and drop in price like last time.
