Acer showcased a new PDA based, Ferrari design navigator this week at the 2007 Computex in Taipei. The device features a 2.8″ QVGA display and a powerful speaker for voice directions. The Ferrari navigator uses ALK CoPilot v6.0 premium navigation software that lets you set your very own voice sets on the fly and is able to utilize real time traffic information which can be overlayed onto maps from Navteq.

Like everyone else Acer also went with the sensitive SiRF Star III GPS receiver and threw in some media playing capabilities that lets you listen to your tunes and check out your pictures. For memory expansion the Ferrari themed navigation system provides an SD/MMC slot and for connectivity you’ll find the Bluetooth and 802.11b/g antennas very handy… via
