new eTrex H from Garmin with Galileo support

Garmin will be coming out with a new eTrex model (eTrex H) this fall that will support both GPS and Europe’s upcoming Galileo. Other new models that will support Galileo will be the eTrex Legend HCx, and the eTrex Vista HCx. However the devices are not Galileo ready out of the box but will accommodate a drop-in chip when available.

- Automatic route generation, off route recalculation
- Turn by turn directions with alert tones and icon driven menus
- Display: 1.7H x 1.3W, 256K colour, reflective TFT
- 500 waypoints/icons with name and graphic symbol; 50 reversible routes
- Track log; 10,000 trackpoints,
- TracBack technology and 20 saved tracks
- Size: 4.2H x 2.2W x 1.2D
- Weight: 5.6 oz with batteries
- Uses 2 AA batteries (not included)
- Micro SD card not included
