UMPC with GPS, full keyboard, web cam and more
May 9, 2007 gps navigation

Here is a new Korean UMPC that comes with GPS, a full keyboard, web cam and runs Windows Vista Home Premium. It’s called Tango Wings!. From the pictures it looks as if the device is not as tacky as its name.
Tango Wings has a 6.5″ WVGA screen, 1.8″ 30GB HDD, 802.11 b/g wireless, 768MB RAM, all controlled by a VIA C7-M 770 processor. It even has bluetooth 2.0, integrated speakers, and like we mentioned before, a web cam. You’ll find all the I/O ports you need on this device including FireWire, VGA, ethernet, USB (x3), audio out, microphone jack, SD/MMC slot, and bunch of other buttons.
All these features fit inside a slim body that measures 190×120.8×28.3mm and weighs only 720g. No word on availability or pricing which is usual for any gadget that originates in Korea.

Physical keyboards will become obsolete in the near future. Check out http://www.freshnet8.com for a UMPC keyboard that adds no weight or bulk.
