Published on April 16th, 2007 in gps navigation, tracking
Wonde Proud Technology’s SPT100 is a GPS and GSM/GPRS personal tracking device designed for remote positioning and emergency reporting. It has three quick-dial keys for emergency calls and one panic button for emergency alarm (what’s the fifth we don’t know)
The unit supports GSM 850MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz and 1900MHz, as well as GPRS Class 10 and TCP/UDP. It has 20 all-in-view tracking channels and -159dBm tracking sensitivity.
The SPT100 has an LCD screen, speaker and microphone. It also has built-in 4MB flash memory for data logging, 3D G sensor for power management and mini USB port for charging and data exchange. It has a built-in rechargeable 1,100mAh Li-ion battery.
The SIM card slot is on the right side, and power button on the left. The antenna is on the front face right above the 128×64 LCD screen. For GPS reception Wonde Proud integrated SiRF Star III chips.
It is a very compact device measuring 3.11 x 2.02 x 1.02 inches and weighing 81g with the battery included. Now all we need is a service provider that is willing to offer this GPS tracking at a reasonable price.

At Reperion (www.reperion.com) free tracking is available! All that is needed that the send data string can be read by their server. I know they support already a couple of hardware trackers.

Hi, this tracker costs around 349,- euro, at Reperion, you can get one for 399,- euro including a a 6 month tracking account at their tracking website.
Renewal costs around 89,- euro per year. They also support many other types of trackers, but this tracker really is the best one on the planet !!
The tracker is really great in guarding your vehicle against theft, and to keep an eye on persons. The G-Sensor allows for sleepmode, it will wake up when the car is moving.
try info ‘at’ reperion.com to get more specs and details. I use them for 1,5 years now, never a hickup !
