Navtour NT-147 $250 on NewEgg, $700 on Navtour

navtour-nt-147-045.jpgNT-147 is a pretty standard GPS navigation system with 3.5″ touch screen that has some multimedia capability. It uses SD cards just like most other systems and comes preloaded with maps of the United States on a 2GB version. What makes Navtour NT-147 a bit different from the rest is its swivel GPS antenna for better reception. Also the remote control they offer is not very common.

Looking at the pics on Newegg it looks like a decent system. $250 sounds like a good deal. We went and checked manufacturers site too. They sell the exact same thing for $700. Use of WTF seems appropriate here. I think we’ll buy some from NewEgg and sell it back to manufacturer.

Be aware that Navtour is not supporting upgrades of the mapping software…. looks like us owners are out of luck… not returning emails either.
