scout 355B GPS navigation coming our way
Apr 8, 2007 gps navigation, navteq

Scout from Clifford is a 3.5″ portable navigation system with an MP3 player. It was recently spotted on FCC, which is a good indication that it will be coming out somewhere in the U.S.
It runs Microsoft Windows CE .NET 4.2 operating system on a Samsung S3C2410 266 MHz processor and utilizes a SiRF Star III GPS receiver for location identification. There’s a high density, 2200 mAh Li-Ion battery on board which should last quite a bit. The maps are provided by Navteq.
One features that seperates this Scout 355B from other cheap navigation systems is that this phone features hands free bluetooth capability. Other features include MP3 player and picture viewer.
It is expected to cost just over $300.
