If you want a 4.3″ widescreen GPS navigation system from Garmin that you can afford Nuvi 600 is going to be your best bet. It is stripped down version of other Nuvi 6xx’s lacking bluetooth, text-to-speech, and FM transmitter. The new Nuvi 600 is exclusively available for Europe – it’ll come with maps of certain European region or country and be available in 2nd quarter of this year – namely April.
The nuvi 600’s regional coverage includes UK /Ireland, Nordics, France, Italy /Greece, Belgium /Netherlands /Luxembourg, Spain /Portugal, Alps, and Germany /Switzerland /Austria /Czech Republic. All map data is provided by NAVTEQ.
Nüvi 600(yes we’re not consistent with the use of ü’s and u’s in Nuvi) still includes many multimedia playing capabilities and other tools: It comes with an MP3 player, audio book player (anybody using this?), JPEG picture viewer, currency converters and more.
What’s optional in Nuvi 600 is FM traffic alerts and software for plug-and-play SD cards for language translation. We’re not sure how much Nüvi 600 is going to cost just yet.
The closest thing to Nuvi 600 in North America is the new Nuvi 650.

If they just added a CF reader they would have more buyers, those that buy the EPSON gadget for 550

If you want China street maps with Navtek quality, English menus, and the option of buying N America, Australian or Europe upgrades, this is it!!
Available only in China, just like the USA Garmin site says the 600 is only available in Europe. Both list and street prices are within 10% of European.
Vendors are hard to find, I bought mine at the massive electronics mall in NW Beijing.
