A final addition to the F series from Navman that was announced today was Navman F50, the top of the line product that features a 3.5″ touch screen, traffic information system that can give you live traffic info, and Bluetooth compatibility for handsfree calls (meet B2 bluetooth cradle). The new F50 comes with 32MB of flash memory and uses an Intel PXA processor. It utilizes the SiRF Star III GPS receiver, and Navman claims the battery will last up-to 3.5 hours depending on use.
For £249 here are some of the other features you are getting:
- Spare SD card slot for additional maps
- POI import capability, so you can add your own places of interest (POI), such as safety cameras, using the optional connectivity kit
- Drive-Away™ so it’s ready to use out of the box
- Automatic re-routing with Back-on-Track™
- Pre-installed regional map
- Wide range of accessories
Navman F50 does not have an embedded digital camera like the i series. F50 weighs 200g (excluding B2+ cradle) and measures 116mm x 79.5mm x 24mm.
