Supa unveiled a GPS navigation system called S900 at CES this year. S900 really stands out with its simplistic design, which only relies on the 3.5″ touch screen for user interaction. Taiwanese manufacturer integrated SiRF Star III chipset into the device and a fast 32-bit Freescale MX21 for quick route calculation. As internal memory you get 64MB of SDRAM, and for power you get a 2000mAh (that’s a lot) Li-Polymer rechargeable battery. For I/O (other than the touch screen) there’s an SD/MMC slot as well as a mini USB connector.
It measures 100 x 82.5 x 29 mm and weighs 170 grams. No word on pricing just yet.
