After a press release that got out the word just a few days ago, today we have live pic of the brand new Clarion N.I.C.E 430 GPS navigation device from CES 2007. Going with the same “infotainment” tag line - N.I.C.E 430 has a good set of features. Onlike its predecessor N.I.C.E 200, 430 doesn’t have an HDD but an SD slot which brings down the price quite a bit.
For $500 here’s what you’ll get:
- built-in SiRF Star III GPS antenna
- music/picture storage and playback
- 4.3″ touch screen LCD monitor
- built-in speaker
- rechargeable battery
- 1GB internal memory
- SD card slot
- Real-Time Traffic(RDS-TMC)
- built-in hands-free Bluetooth
- picture viewer
- turn-by-turn voice prompts
- USB interface
- window mount and stylus pen included
Compared to N.I.C.E 200, the new 430 is 400 dollars cheaper and features a slightly bigger screen making it an enticing deal.

I love my new NICE 430. Clarion has made a great GPS, it is so easy to use and the MP3 player and Bluetooth are just great extra’s that Clarion has added. I would buy another one today if I needed one and I wouldn’t even look at any other GPS. A+A+A+A+A+A+A+ to Clarion.
