Published on December 24th, 2006 in bluetooth, gps navigation
Well we just got the word from Visiontac Instrument Inc that they’ll soon be bringing the VGPS-700 to the North American market. If you’ve been reading Navigadget for a while now you’ll know that we reported on another tiny bluetooth GPS receiver back in March called Columbus V700 which looked very very similar to the new VGPS-700 we have today. However we were informed that Columbus was designed for Chinese market and the VGPS-700 is not the same thing and it specially designed for North America.
The Visiontac VGPS-700 has built-in 850 mAh lithium polymer battery which enables it to run 8 to 12 hours. However a nice freebie (pictured to the right) you’ll find in the box is the external battery pack which will get you up to 18 to 20 hours.
