Logicom D-JIX SG358 for French

Logicom of Europe just announced a GPS navigation system called the D-JIX SG358. The device uses maps from the Route 66 and is supposed to cost only €170 ($225).

Its main features are:

• SiRF III integrated GPS receiver
• 3.5″ touch screen TFT LCD with 65K colors at 320 x 240 resolution
• 400MHz processor
• 2 watt speaker
• Windows CE.net 5.0
• SD/MMC port
• MP3 and WMA audio player
• JPEG, GIF, BMP and PNG image viewer
• WM and DivX video
• Road 66 Navigate 7 navigation software with maps of France by Navteq and preloaded on 512MB SD memory card
• Fixed radar database integrated with speed limit.

We’re not sure if any suppliers will bring this to North America.
