Tricod NavAccess E802 is your standard GPS navigation device for those who are looking a budget device. It costs a bit more than $300. It runs Windows CE 4.2 in the background on a 400 MHz processor and comes with a 3.5″ TFT LCD touch-screen with non-reflective coating. It has 64MB of both ROM, and SDRAM and comes with pre-installed maps on a 512MB SD card. It uses a standard SiRF Star III GPS receiver chipset which connects to a GeoHelix antenna for best reception.
NavAccess E802 supports various multimedia files such as mpg, wmv, asf, wav, wma, mp3, mp2, mpa, jpeg, gif, bmp and png. That’s a pretty long list and you should be set if you can find a way to convert those YouTube clips into one of these formats.
It measures 135.8 x 21.2 x 82.5 mm and weighs 210 grams. If you ever owned one of these please write a comment and let us know what you think. There were no reviews on NewEgg.

Great little device. I tried a 1 gig SD card and it stored about half of the US maps. I wonder if it works with 4gig SD card, that would be great. It’s very accurate, good enough for all my needs. 1.1 USB is too slow to read big files from external storage, but can read and play small files like music files.

I have one and its amazing using 2 gig sd card and smart2go maps.

I am interested in this unit.. Glad to hear from some end users.
Can someone tell me.. does this GPS announce “Destination ahead on the RIGHT or LEFT..? or does it only say.. “Destination ahead”.. Some GPS provide the added info which side of street a destination is on.. while most I have learned only provide that destination is ahead. Thanks for any user feedback.

This is a great unit has everything. Yes it does have voice along with many other great feaures. Very happy with mine. Highly recomend it to anyone. tells you everything speed ,turns,next turning street, scale bar, estimated time of arival,current driving street, driving sped distance until next turn, disttance to destination. Features zoom i zoom out, Click me music,any sound in playlist,Route options,Switch language,Speed Alert,Points of Interest,Vioce Guidance,Start logging record,View Logging,Cloc Change current time and sunset sunrise times,About shw softare. E books…it is everything you will ever need.
