emtac mini-S3 bluetooth GPS receiver resembles a pebble
Published on December 8th, 2006 in bluetooth, gps navigation
Emtac (anyone heard of them before?) just released a tiny bluetooth GPS receiver that looks like a pebble. The mini-S3 measures only 67 x 48 x 18 mm and weighs only 60 grams. There is nothing fancy about the device but a solid, simple design. The outer coating is rubberized preventing it from moving around on your dashboard or where ever you may want to put it. It uses the SiRF Star III chipset, but no word on the battery life. It will cost you $100. We’ll let you know soon where you can pick one up from.
