PVST-SPN350 Phillar Vision Navigator

Phillar of Netherlands just released a new navigation system called PVST-SPN350 Phillar Vision Navigator. PVST-SPN250 is a portable system that features a touch screen with a friendly GUI and comes with a stylus. This new GPS navigation comes pre-installed with either Map & Guide or Alturion maps depending on your distributor.

The PVST-SPN350 uses Centrality’s Atlas II Processor 276Mhz and runs Microsoft WinCE.NET 4.2 OS. As internal memory you get 32MB ROM and 64MB of SDRAM but you can add your own memory using the expansion slot with SD/MMC cards. The display measures 3.5″ just like most others and has 320×240 pixels resolution with 262k colors. You also get built-in speakers, audio jack, a rechargeable internal battery at 720mAh, and a port for TMC connectivity. Out of the box PVST-SPN350 does not have any multimedia capabilities but you have the option to purchase and install the software to handle image, audio, and video files.

It measures 118mm x804mm x 28mm and weighs about 250 grams. Accessories included are car mounting kit, SD card reader, AC/DC adapter, and the stylus.

It is expected to be available in most European countries for only 200 Euros.
