Here is another GPS navigation system that is at the sub $500 level. The Roadstar Navigazione (also known as RGPS404) actually costs £230 which equals about $440 these days. It is made by the British audio equipment maker Roadstar that mostly targets the European market. The device features almost everything you may want in such a device except handsfree bluetooth capability for making phone calls.

Anyhow, it features a 4″ wide, touch-screen, 2D, 3D, or night time map view, voice commands, MP3 player, SD card slot. Speaking of the SD card it comes preloaded with Navteq maps of UK and major roads of the rest of the Europe.

It measures 131 x 73 x 22mm and included in the box are the Navigazione, car cord, main adapter, stylus, mounting kit, and a USB cable. You can pick one up from here.
