Gibabyte enters PDA market, g-Smart i300 includes GPS receiver

PC part manufacturer Gigabyte recently entered the PDA market with the new g-Smart i300 which they revealed at the Asia 3GSM Conference. The g-Smart i300 has an embedded with a GPS receiver, bluetooth antenna and headset, 2MP digital camera. The Bluetooth headset that can also be used as a security device such that if the headset is activated during an emergency, it will prompt the phone to send a message with the last known coordinates to pre-assigned numbers that can be left with friends, family, even colleagues. The g-Smart i300 will run Windows Mobile 5.0 run by an Intel PXAA270 520MHz processor and will support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB 2.0.

g-Smart i300 is expected to be out in December.
