MaxField releases Max Track GPS navigation system
Published on October 21st, 2006 in gps navigation
Maxfield last week presented its first navigation system, the MAX-TRACK. The device comes with a 400 MHz speed processor probably the fastest processor you can get on a navigation system. But then again, we don’t think the processor is the most important part of a navigation system.
The Max-Track comes has an SD slot where you can slip in the included 1GB memory card which includes maps of selected European countries.
It has a standard 3.5″ TFT touch-screen display panel with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. Like most other systems Max Track also comes with voice guidance which you can hear through the integrated speakers.
The on-board software is called Max-Navigator 5 and car warn you about speed limits too. You can depend on the 2200 mAh lithium-ion battery for hours, and still take it with you for it still manages to weigh less than 300 grams.
Max-Track will be in stores November 2006, in the UK and Germany.
