world’s smallest bluetooth GPS receiver from Navicore
Oct 19, 2006 bluetooth, gps navigation

Today Navicore revealed a new bluetooth GPS receiver, a device designed for providing GPS functionality for mobile bluetooth enabled devices such as phones, PDA’s, laptops, etc. Measured at 64 x 22 x 15mm and weighing just 30g Navicore claims this is the worlds smallest bluetooth GPS receiver. Into this little package they managed to fit 8 hours worth of battery life and a high quality SiRF Star III GPS receiver. The built-in battery can be charged easily by connecting the USB cable included in the package to a laptop, PC, or a cigarette lighter outlet.
Regarding Navicore’s “worlds smallest” claims; International GPS Dimensions Committee -which was on a fall break at the time- refrained from commenting on how the device ranked but they did point out that it was blow to their authority for Navicore to make this claim before consulting their expertise :)

I bought the device but I cannot connect it to my Nokia E65. For some reason it does not pair with the mobile. Does anyone knows why?

Try the code 0000 for pairing with an E65, worked for me.
