Pioneer AVIC HRZ88 in-dash navigation and entertainment
Published on October 16th, 2006 in gps navigation
Pioneer continues to expand its AVIC series with HRZ88 this time; another 7″ monster navigation and entertainment system to fit into your dashboard complete with a remote control and an external GPS receiver. The new line-up is dubbed Raku-Navi and comes in five HDD-based models and four DVD-based models, priced from 147,000 to 325,500 yen.
The HDD models comes with 30GB of storage space but they all feature a TV receiver, DVD-VIDEO and DVD-R/RW (Video-Mode), CD, CD-R/RW, FM/AM, WMA and MP3 players. You’d be too naive to expect to see this North America. Sorry.

Hi, I have a Carrozzeria (Pioneer) HDD AVIC-HRZ88 that runs it’s FM frequency on the Japanese settings of 76–90 MHz. I want to try to alter it so it works on the UK USA / Europe frequency range of 87.5 to 108.0 MHz. Does anybody know how this can be done, where and how much. Also the Sat Nav and TV does work here in the UK, can this also be changed.
Many thanks,
Jon
I meant to say that the TV and SAT NAV does NOT work here…
