If you are a do it yourself guy (and live in the woods) this is the ultimate weekend project for you. We came accross this laptop gps mount on flickr. Say you don’t have any money to spend on a proper laptop mount or you think they’re to girly for you; meet the manly men’s gps mount.
Here are the materials you’ll need:
- About a foot of 1 inch square steel pipe.
- An old music stand shelf.
- About 2 feet of water heater copper tubing.
- A couple of connectors.
Be aware that it may not leave any room for the passenger - plus it may reduce the re-sale value of your car :)
