two new Acer GPS navigators: P610 and P630

At a workshop organized by GPS navigation mapmaker Navteq in Italy these new PNDs were announced to supplement the Acer e310.
Main features of p610 and p630:
- Receiver GPS integrated SiRF III LP with integrated antenna
- Touch screen TFT LCD 4 inches with the format 16/9 and of resolution 480 X 272 pixels
- Processor Samsung S3C2440A Given rhythm To 400 MHz
- 64 MB of ROM and 64 MB of RAM
- Kit Free Hands Bluetooth (only on the p630)
- Port MMC/SD
- Battery Lithium-Ion of 1200 mAh
- Dimensions : 11.6 X 8.1 X 2.3 cm
- Weight : 195 grams
- High speaker of 1 Watt.
- Windows CE.net 5.0
- Navigation software provided by ALK CoPilot 6 with maps from Navteq. Preloaded radars and normally the possibility of importing them.
- MP3 player
- Image viewer
The p610 will be provided with maps of France on a 256MB SD memory card. The p630 will be provided with maps of France as well as the principal road of Europe, all on a 256MB SD memory card. More detailed maps of Europe for the p630 will be provided on a CD.
Both will come with a car charger, mounting kit, and USB cable for synchronization. P610 will cost 299 Euros and it will be available in October.
