If you are looking for a GPS software for your UMPC, look no longer. The software called GPS.RADAR is developed by JGUI. The current version is a beta version and at this time it is still a freeware (trial edition). That should only last until November 2006. So now maybe a good time to download this.
Just so you know GPS.RADAR is not going to turn your UMPC into a navigation system. But it can accomplish a lot of other things some of you may find useful (and can not do with your fancy little garmin nuvi).
- monitor your localization by GPS receiver
- save the track and points of moving
- generate various XML reports
- live export results to Google Earth
- update results to Internet server, like Google Maps
- upload points to dedicated Internet server
- review your moving on designed web pages
