HP iPAQ hw6940 and hw6945 with integrated GPS

HP made two new 6900 series iPAQ’s available on their website recently; hw6940 and hw6945. The difference between two models is that 6945 comes with Integrated HP Photosmart 1.3 MP camera but for some reason they are priced the same. (both $600)

The 6900 series is named as Mobile Messenger because it is bound to keep you connected no matter what. The main features of the device is marketed by adding an “i” in the beginning. Such as iTALK, iCONNECT, iWORK, iFIND, iCREATE, iPLAY. What we are interested in here at Navigadget is the iFIND feature which is an integrated GPS receiver which includes the necessary navigation software and maps in select countries. Combined with the integrated digital camera you can attach a location tag to each of your pictures.

We should also mention the iCONNECT feature which is a variety of integrated wireless technologies, including GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
