Asia Pacific Satellite Industry presented a dual mode(GSM/satellite) mobile phone called SG-2520.

The SG-2520 can be used as a regular mobile phone as usual; and when you feel like going to middle-of-nowhere where a regular cell phone networks don’t work well, you can use the phone as a satellite mobile phone that communicates through artificial satellite, thereby eliminating the need for extra roaming service.

SG-2520 is also packed with other features such as data transfer, fax, packet data transfer, GPS, USB, mp3 playback, Bluetooth, 1.3M camera, and infrared rays communication. It also features 262,000 color 2-inch LCD and it measures 138 x 53 x 19mm at 180g.
