MyGuide SilverGuide 5000 satellite navigation review
Published on August 1st, 2006 in gps navigation, myguide, reviews
PCW of the UK released a review of MyGuide Silver Guide 5000, which recently hit the European markets, hoping to get some market share using its low price advantage. The article did not talk much about the its nicely built hardware but they were a little stuck on operating the software.
For example, tap ‘align screen’ and the instructions slip into German. Ask it to show you the closest petrol stations, and it presents the list by oil company, not nearest to your current position.
For that reason they gave the MyGuide SilverGuide 5000 a thumbs down which we think was a little to harsh. Hopefully people at MyGuide will release a software to take care of these software issues.
