Jul 19, 2006 bluetooth, globalsat, gps navigation, gps reviews

A nice short review from Kiwiland about the GlobalSat BT-328 in comparison with the more expensive BT-338. In the end they decide the results are satisfactory and give the BT-328 a thumbs up.
Pros
- Good tracking in most situations
- Good battery life
- Easy Bluetooth operation. Can connect to most Bluetooth devices
- Lower cost than, but almost as good as the BT338
- Small size
Cons
- Like all Bluetooth receivers, needs to be charged separately
- Not so good in urban canyon / tall building situations

I am completely amazed by the operational speed. Since I log my driving tracks, this really allows me to keep a smoother track of my driving, especially around turns and my navigation programs are more precise when they tell me how soon I need to make a turn.
I purchased the Globalsat BT-328 from Bedox Inc.

for $24USD plus postage.
This price included a small carring case for your GPS receiver.
