myguide Pocket Star is not an oridinary navigation system
Published on July 9th, 2006 in gps navigation, myguide, phones
The Pocket Star from MyGuide (partners with Typhoon) is somewhat different from the rest of the navigation systems in the market. How? It is just a lot smaller. It is only as big as a cell phone but has all the capabilities of a full sized, in-dash car navigation system. Like most other systems out there Pocket Star also features MP3 and MPEG4 capabilities. In addition you can record voice and view pictures. It comes with pre-installed map material on an SD Card which can be expanded up to 2GB. Conviniently it comes with a car holder (bracket) and a windshield mount. Just don’t forget, it is not a phone.
