PT-33 Personal Tracker from StarsNav
Apr 5, 2006 bluetooth, gps navigation, tracking
This little gadget (86 x 57 x 27.4 mm), slightly resembling a ‘hello kitty’ product is a personal tracker from StarsNav; a company manufacturing car gps system products, gps antennas, car gps system receivers, bluetooth GPS and wireless applications.
Integrated inside this little unit is GPS and GSM modules as well as GPRS support GSM for downloading logged data. It doesn’t have much memory but it can’t still store up to 14400 individual locations.
Supporting a remote listen-in function and a panic button this personal tracker is the must have gadget for your most top-secret operations.
We’re not sure what kind of GSM service would support this device but from reading the specs we can tell that it would also work without a SIM card.
Here are some more of the specs from their website:
- Send Panic message and location
- Listen in remotely
- Real time tracking using SMS and GPRS
- Navigation data output on USB (serial port) at 9600 or 4800 Baud rate
- Mini USB port – Serial (1200 to 38400 baud Rate) for external communication, firmware upgrade, GPS data output and battery charge.
- 4 LED indicators
- Bluetooth GPS output (Bluetooth GPS receiver)

Yes you normally require a GPS service provider to use a GPS product (or you can start service on your own). Please visit http://www.findnsecure.com for more clarity.
