Magellan RoadMate 3000T car navigation system and media player
Published on April 4th, 2006 in gps navigation
Just when we thought Magellan was going to be kicked out of the in-car navigation system market by stylish Garmin and TomTom systems they released 3 spanking new systems on their website. The simplest of the 3 new navigation systems is the RoadMate 3000T which includes everything you look for in a basic navigation system. It boasts a large color touch screen and one-touch easy access buttons and can give you turn-by-turn voice guidance as you drive.
It comes ready with the trademarked services such as SmartDetour and TrafficKit where the latter requires a Magellan Traffic Service subscription.
If those weren’t enough this basic model even includes a digital media player which can play .mp3 .wma files as well as photo viewer tool. All these can be transferred into the 3000T using a SD or MMC card.
It is expected that the RoadMate 3000T will hit the stores this month and will cost about $600.
