Garmin StreetPilot 7200 and 7500 have a composite video entry to connect to external vidéos sources, functions of reading of numerical musics to format MP3, functions of listening of radio or reception of information traffic and méteo with format XM Radio (via subscription in the USA) and can also be compatible with the numerical shop audible.com which makes it possible to acquire with protected numerical musics but also of the numerical books.

In option, these two peripherals are also compatible with an adapter GTM-10 FM, making it possible to receive via the waves FM of information traffic in time real and making it possible to avoid, via the software of navigation GPS integrated to pass by zones where the traffic is dense or where work is in hand.

Marketed with a remote control without wire included/understood with these two peripherals GPS, those also have functionalities of alarm of proximity of POI, allowing for example to be informed at the time of the approach of a POI of the radar type.

On the level of the differences noted between StreetPilot 7200 and 7500, this last will be compatible with functions making it possible to continue to sail even at the time of the use of the 7500 in tunnels or in “urban canyons”, an algorithm having has this occasion conceived to envisage, in intéraction with another peripheral, the movements in these same places where a signal GPS is not valid any more.

The PND Garmin StreetPilot 7200 is currently marketed in France for a price of approximately 1600 €uros including all taxes.
