All-in-one car navigation system GV201 from GlobalSat

Another product that showed up on GlobalSat website today (in addition to GH-601) is the GV-201, an all-in-one navigation system which also uses SiRF III chipset.

Available from February 2006 the GV-201 is a complete navigation and entertainment system in a single package. Based on the tried and trusted Microsoft Windows CE software the GV-201 incorporates leading edge technology from SiRF combined with legendary design from Globalsat produces an evolutionary, stylish All-In-One Car Navigation System.

The GV-201 is ready to direct you to your destination within seconds of switching the satnav on. Simply select where you want to go with the easy to use touch screen interface and within seconds you are ready to go. As you drive you are given clear voice instructions indicating the turns to take.

Whilst you are stopped for a break in your journey you can listen to music or watch a movie. If others in the car are sleeping then you can use a headset to listen in private.
