XRoad and Tibo GPS Sytem by Carpoint Co.

Carpoint Co.’s “XROAD” is an all-inclusive aggregator of information that should be needed in driving a car in respect of GPS, navigation, traffic, safety and even entertainment like mp3, movie, game and the Internet.
The first-rate SIRFII Xtrec has been adopted for the GPS chip, which is 2 times more expensive than those of Intel. It utilizes 256M map data mainly coming from Navteq, Navigon.
Users can make use of a car cigarette lighter as a power supply source. By simply switching map-ported CF cards, its users can enjoy seamless roaming services around the world.
The fundamental & value-added services employing this system have been extremely popularized in Korea and are now becoming available in many other regions.
