T-Mobile G2 by HTC

Finally the successor for T-Mobile G1 is out. It is simply called T-Mobile G2 and is designed by HTC. It was just officially announced by T-Mobile and it will be available later this month. This is the first phone in the U.S. to support HSPA+ network, a version of 4G connectivity. T-Mobile claims their 4G network covers more than 100 million people in 55 major metropolitan areas.

Back to the phone. T-Mobile’s G2 has a 3.7″ screen, full slide out keyboard, 5MP camera with LED flash, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS of course, Adobe flash support, Android 2.2 OS, 1300mAh battery, and a 800Mhz processor.

Some other features include the ability to record HD videos, 8GB microSD card (supports upto 32GB), and 4GB internal memory.

It should cost the usual $200 with a 2 year contract.
