NavMan N40i on Woot for $160

navman-n40i.jpg
Today Woot is offering NavMan N40i GPS with 3.5″ touchscreen for $160. It sounds like a good deal since when we first talked about Navman N40i the price was around $500.

However, the most interesting feature of the NavMan N40i NavPix GPS is the integrated digital camera that saves what they call NavPix. You can make these NavPix of any place you like, creating the perfect rose-tinted memory, then calling up the route by image to find your way back any time you want. This could come in handy when the local riff-raff decides to send you away before you’re ready to leave.

Yes, we know, your phone can take higher resolution pictures than the onboard 1.3MP camera but if you’re looking into getting a GPS navigation system you probably already own a decent digital camera anyways.

Whistler WPGX-635 GPS navigation on Woot for $220

whistler-gps-045.jpg
Whistler WPGX-635 for $220. Of course there’s always that standard $5 shipping. Still $225 is not bad for a standard 3.5″ touch screen satellite navigation system that offers 8 hours of operation thanks to a rechargeable 1350 mAh Li-Poly battery and comes with 1GB SD memory card with preloaded maps of the whole USA also including Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands.

However we still think the $180 for that JVC KV-PX9 we talked about earlier today was a better deal. How can you beat a 18GB hard disk?

Microsoft Street and Trips 2006 on Woot for $45

ms-gps-941.jpgIf you’ve been looking for a GPS navigation upgrade for your laptop you should check out Microsoft’s Street and Trips 2006 with GPS locater. It’s a decent piece of software with a lot of features and the hardware is quite fast to get a satellite fix. Check out this review of MS Streets and Trips 2006.

It sounds like a good deal, and the “I want one” button is bouncing meaning they don’t have very many left… woot

woot sells 80 PlayStation 3’s in 4 minutes

ps3-woot-494.jpg
We know PS3 is not really related to Navigadget since it doesnt do any sort of GPS navigation (or does it?) – but we thought this would be worth mentioning. Today’s Woot was Sony PlayStation 3 (20GB) for $499.99 and $5 for shipping for next day delivery. What a great Xmas present for PS3 fanboys out there!

They only had 80 of them and it sold out in about 4 minutes.

20GB portable media player with GPS navigation for $200

pvp-e320-045.jpg
Here is another woot alert. Woot is offering a Dream’eo portable media player with GPS navigation for $200. The model name is actually PVP E320. A little research (pdf link) reveals that the actual device does not come with an embedded GPS chip but with this package they’re making use of the CF card slot and including add-on GPS receiver (in this case an Holux GM-270U Compact Flash GPS device) and making it work with the Horizon Navmate Navigation software. The best price online for this device is usually around $250 and that price does not even include the GPS package. We think it is good deal.
