The Asus R700 family has a new member called Asus R710 and this one has a very special feature. According to engadget Asus R710 has a mini projector that can display navigation related information on your windshield. After Asus R700 we now hear that Asus is showcasing Asus R700t – pretty much the same GPS navigation system with traffic message channel capability. The rest of the specs will remain the same – but to summarize R700t will have a 4.3″ touch screen, hands free bluetooth to pair up with your phone, and run on a long lasting 1300mAh Li-Ion battery.

Asus R700 GPS navigation

Announced by Asus in September, R700 GPS navigation device will be a high-end model with a 4.3 inch touch screen and RDS/TMC traffic receiver. It does not have an FM transmitter to utilize your car audio for voice directions but it does have text-to-speech function to speak out street names.

Another nice feature on the new Asus R700 is the ability to read text messages from your cell phone using the hands free bluetooth kit.

Also we now can confirm that the navigation software will be iGO 8, the latest version that integrates 3D images of certain sites such as historic buildings and other structures.
